Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By engaging SutraForge for any service — whether through our website, email, or any other channel — you agree to these Terms of Service. SutraForge refers to the studio operated from Mysore, Karnataka, India, reachable at ask@sutraforge.com.
2. Services
SutraForge provides web development, UI/UX design, and AI integration services. The exact scope of each engagement is defined in a separate written proposal or statement of work agreed upon before work begins. No work commences without written confirmation of scope and payment.
3. Payment Terms
All projects require a 50% advance payment before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion before final files or deployment credentials are transferred. Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced on a phase. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Revisions
Each project includes two rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Revisions that constitute a change in scope — including new features, pages, or significant design changes — will be quoted separately. Revision requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.
5. Timelines
Timelines stated in proposals are estimates based on prompt client feedback. SutraForge commits to meeting agreed timelines when feedback and approvals are provided within 48 hours of requests. Delays caused by late client feedback will extend the timeline accordingly.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing all required content (text, images, branding) in a timely manner, reviewing and approving deliverables promptly, and ensuring all provided content is owned by or licensed to the client. SutraForge is not liable for any legal issues arising from client-supplied content.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of final payment, the client owns all custom design and code created specifically for their project. SutraForge retains the right to display the completed work in our portfolio. We retain ownership of any proprietary tools, frameworks, or processes used in delivery.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary business information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the project.
9. Limitation of Liability
SutraForge's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the relevant project. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination, the client pays for all work completed to date. The advance payment is non-refundable. SutraForge will deliver all completed work upon receipt of outstanding payment.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mysore, Karnataka, India.
